BUYER’S GUIDE

Webcam tokens vs credits: viewer costs and payouts

Understand which number belongs in a viewer’s budget and why a performer payout is a different calculation.

A label does not establish a price

Some platforms describe their internal balance as tokens; others use credits. The label alone does not tell you what a unit costs, what services it buys, or whether unused balance can be refunded. Read the platform’s own purchase information.

The converter works with a count of spendable units and a package price, so it can perform the same arithmetic for credits. See the LiveJasmin credit cost calculator for an account-quote example. LiveJasmin’s official purchase route uses the term credits; its account quote is needed for an actual estimate.

Viewer purchase cost

This is the money a viewer pays divided by the spendable units received. A hypothetical $20 purchase of 200 units gives a cost of $0.10 per unit. That figure belongs in a viewer’s budget.

Performer payout

A performer’s payout is a different side of the transaction. A published earnings rate describes the performer’s compensation, not the price a viewer can buy tokens for. Do not use a model-side number to calculate a viewer purchase.

Keep each platform separate

These tools do not transfer tokens or credits, buy balances, or exchange one platform’s balance for another. A cash-value estimate is a budgeting calculation, not an offer to redeem tokens. The provider’s terms govern what happens to unused balances.

Compare two complete offers

Use final payment totals in the same currency and count only spendable units. Then compare the two package offers and the cost of the intended activity. A 20-unit/minute room and a 60-unit/minute room consume the balance at very different speeds even when the purchase unit cost is identical.
